HOLDEM ODDS
Odds for Your Hole Cards
There are exactly 1,326 different ways you can be dealt any two cards in the deck. There are six ways to have a pair because any card can be matched with any one of the other three of it’s rank like this: ♣♦,♣♥,♣♠♦♥♦♠ and ♥♠. Any two cards that are not a pair can come in these combinations: ♣♣,♣♦♣♥♣♠♦♣♦♦♦♥♦♠♥♣♥♦♥♥♥♠♠♣♠♦♠♥ and ♠♠. Four of these combinations are suited Play Poker.
If you consider the fact that J♥ 7♦ and J♣ 7♠ are the same hand because they are not suited, then there are only 169 ways to be dealt two cards. All 169 hands are printed in descending order on the following page.
